"Did you know

NSO positively impacted

more than 72,000

disadvantaged individuals

in 2008 alone?"

Welcome to NSO

We are a faith-based organization serving the at-risk and homeless population by providing housing solutions and teaching skills to transform lives.

Statistically, although the poverty level in Oklahoma decreased slightly in 2007, the overall rate remains nearly 16% above the national average.

This translates into approximately 1 in 6 Oklahomans living below the poverty level...this is unacceptable...and we still have much to do.

    AGING OUT IN OKLAHOMA

  • Fresh New NSO Web Presence

It is a new and exciting day for NSO!  Collaborating with NSO representatives, a team of  talented marketing, media, and web designers gathered for a full Saturday of “volunteering”…  resulting in the creation of a refreshed web presence. This will serve as the hub of  NSO’s  re-introduction to the world.

For more than 90 years NSO has been a force in Oklahoma City advantaging the disadvantaged! Our newly designed web site tells the story of an agency passionately dedicated to helping people toward home, and toward health….and always with heart. And this is just the beginning of our updated communication efforts…all aimed at helping us better fulfill our mission.

NSO would like to thank the sponsors of “Code 4 a Cause” which made today’s “extreme-web-makeover” possible.
